Directions
Honey Caramelized Red Onion
Melt butter in a pan over medium-low heat, then add onions.
Cook onions till they begin to soften and caramelize, stirring often for about 10 minutes.
Add honey, vinegar and wine. Reduce to a syrupy consistency, approximately 10 minutes.
Use on grilled cheese, cold sandwiches, grilled chicken or steaks, or your next cheese plate.
Sandwich
Spread honey sriracha mayo on bread.
Place Brie slices on bread, making sure they are spread evenly.
Top with a layer of avocado, jalapeños and honey caramelized red onions.
Finish by topping with a layer of shredded Gouda and another slice of bread with mayo.
In a non-stick or cast-iron pan, melt half the butter over medium heat.
Cook the sandwich on one side, rotating occasionally to ensure even heat, till brown and crispy and cheese is beginning to melt.
Melt remaining butter and cook the other side.
Cut in half and serve.
